ABOUT US
Senior engineer Steve Barg has over 20 years of structural engineering experience and holds a PhD from Stanford CIFE. He is licensed in the US and Canada as a PE, SE, and P.Eng. He has designed a variety of commercial, residential, industrial projects as the Engineer of Record.
From our office in Chilliwack we provide structural engineering services throughout the Fraser Valley and southern British Columbia.

COMMERCIAL
In the commercial sector we bring expertise in concrete, steel, and mass timber structural systems. We work with our clients to produce high-quality, efficient details tailored to their project needs. Our team is skilled in seismic design, and experienced in managing the unique challenges of tall and long-span structures, ensuring both safety and architectural integrity.
RESIDENTIAL
We have extensive experience in a broad range of residential projects. Our services include new construction, alterations, additions, and seismic retrofits. We also design and construct outdoor structures such as decks, shade structures, and ADUs. To enhance your project, we provide 3D models to help visualize the design and can scan your existing structure for faithful integration.
OTHER
Our diverse project experience includes supporting structures for large art displays, bridge design and inspections (NBI trained), and dam evaluation and retrofits (PFMA certified). We also provide 3D scans for existing structures and precision building monitoring.
